Background: Born and bred in Forbes NSW, Anna learned piano and guitar in her early years. She had an early introduction to radio, producing recorded programs in secondary school for a local radio station. Fueling her artistic passions further, Anna has sung in talent quests and acted in various stage plays. Anna also holds a Bachelor of Education from Charles Sturt University, Bathurst. She has been a resident of Griffith for more than 30 years and is actively involved her local church and the 2MIA Relay for Life team which raises funds for cancer research. Anna has four children and has been a presenter at 2MIA FM since 2010.
Music Interests: Anna grew up enjoying the music and singing talents of Elvis and various Italian opera singers, a love she shared with her mother. These days she enjoys the variety that christian music provides in the genres of rock, blues and jazz. Not that long ago Anna used to regularly tune into 2MIA FM and listen to the Life is Worth Living program, and now she presents it along with a mix of her favourite music. “Music makes me feel calm, but also uplifting when I can sing along. I hope that my listeners can get the same enjoyment from music as I do.”
Programs: Anna co-presents Life is Worth Living with Father Peter every alternate Friday between 6pm and 8pm.
